hi folks! here are the pictures i wanted to be sending you while i was writing the blog, but due to the fact i had such poor, and unreliable internet connections was unable to. i have also embedded a slide show in the next two entries. the pictures are much bigger if you view them in the albums below and there are captions as well. Copy and paste these addresses onto your browser and hit return. i was just having fun seeing what could be done.....ahhh the wonders of technology.

i want to take this opportunity to thank you my fans for reading the blog. i hope you had as much fun reading it as i had writing it, i really enjoyed it. i am looking at taking some creative writing class this fall at SBCC or adult ed. we'll see.

How many pigs can you get on a motorbike?

This is not an unusual sight on the country roads of Viet Nam, as folks go off to market with their "wares". it was fun to see what the next unusual loads was being transported by means of motorbikes. On the way to the airport i saw a guy with two blue and white ceramic vases 5' tall and 18" at the base on either side of his back wheel....wow how did he balance it and weave thru traffic!?
